Videos are one of the foundational tools of eLearning. They improve learner performance by providing visual examples, allowing them to interact, explore and digest the content at their own pace.   


To upload video as training material, log in to your CXcherry platform as the Super Admin. Click on the gear icon in the header and select the Manage Training Materials item. On the Manage Training Materials page, press the plus button.  


In the slide-out panel, click the Video option on the page. The mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk*. A few details about fields on this page: 


  • Title: Title of the video. 
  • Description: Description of the video. 
  • Type: CX Cherry platform supports the following ways to include a video:  
  • File: You can upload files of type MP4. The maximum file size should not exceed 1 GB. However, it is recommended to not upload files of more than 500 MB for optimal user experience. 
  • Embed Code URL: URL of the video. You can embed videos via URLs from providers like YouTube and Vimeo. 



 

Press the SAVE button to upload a video to your CXcherry platform. You can edit or delete a video. This can be done by clicking Edit and Delete icons under the Action column. If you delete a video, you will not be able to assign it to any new course. However, the deleted video will continue to be a part of the courses to which it was already assigned. You can launch the video by clicking on the Play icon under the Action column. You can see the courses to which the video has been assigned by clicking the icon under the Courses column. 


Videos are delivered to the users via a signed URL to ensure security and permission-based access to users.
