Use this tab to configure the following settings: 


Notification Emails 

  • Send Email Address: Email a.ddress which platform will use for sending notifications (such as Reset Password) via email. 
  • Support Email Address: The email address that will be visible to users for sending platform-related support requests via email. This can also be used if you want to include support email addresses in notification templates (create a hyperlink on notification templates to navigate to the Manage Notifications page).



Date, Timezone, and Language 

  • Default Date Format: Select the default date format from the drop-down. CXcherry platform supports three types of date format viz DD-MM-YYYY, MM-DD-YYYY, and YYYY-MM-DD. DD stands for Date, MM stands for Month and YYYY stands for Year.  The user will be able to change his/her preferred language from their profile section. (create a hyperlink on the profile section to navigate to My Details page for User) 
  • Default Timezone: Select the default date timezone from the drop-down. The user will be able to change his/her preferred timezone from their profile section. (create a hyperlink on the profile section to navigate to My Details page for User)  
  • Default Language: Select the default language from the drop-down. The user will be able to change his/her preferred language from their profile section. (create a hyperlink on the profile section to navigate to My Details page for User) 

Your CXcherry platform will display all the date-time fields as per the selected date and timezone while it will use the selected language for showing the verbiage/translations to the users.



Self Registration 

  • Free self-registration: Use this option if you want to allow the user to register themselves and use the platform freely. 
  • Moderated self-registration: Use this option if you want to allow the user to register themselves but want your Super Admin to approve (create a hyperlink on approve to navigate to Pending Users page) the user into the platform to confirm the registration. Users will not be able to access the platform until their registration is approved. 
  • Only by Administrator: Use this option if you want only the Super Admin to register users to your platform rather than allowing them to register themselves. This is the default option for your CXcherry platform. 


If you select any of the first two options, you will be able to configure the following additional settings:  

  • Allowed Domains: You can define which email domains can users enter to self-register in the CXcherry platform. 
  • Allow users to choose their role: Use this option if you want users to choose their role during the self-registration process.  
  • Allow users to choose their branch: Use this option if you want users to choose their branch during the self-registration process.



Password Policy 

  • Minimum Length: Minimum number of characters required for a password. Please note that the default minimum number of characters is 8, but this can be changed, as desired. 


  • Maximum consecutive failed attempts: Maximum number of consecutive failed login attempts which a user is allowed on your CXcherry platform. The default value for this parameter is 5, but this can be changed, as desired. When the maximum number of consecutive failed attempts is reached, all subsequent login attempts will be blocked for 10 minutes. The block applies to the IP address from which the login to the platform was attempted. 


  • Force users to change the password on the first login: Use this option to force users to change password after their first login into the platform. This is only applicable for users who make use of the password provided by Super Admin.



Other Settings 

Session Life Time (In Mins): The number of minutes of user inactivity the platform will wait before expiring the JWT token. When a JWT token is expired, the user is logged out of the platform and he/she will have to log in again. 


Password Link Validity (In Hours): The number of hours for which password link in Notification to User for account creation by Super Admin or Notification for reset password (create a hyperlink on notification to navigate to Manage Notifications page) notification will remain active. If the link has passed the validity, the user will receive an error.      


Default landing page for users: The page which users should see when they login to the platform. You can choose either My Courses (default option) or Course Catalog as the option.  


Default course sorting option for users: Select the default course sorting option for users from the drop-down. CXcherry platform supports the following six types of sorting options which users can use for displaying courses: 

  • A-Z 
  • Z-A 
  • Newest to Oldest 
  • Oldest to Newest 
  • Code (Ascending Order) 
  • Code (Descending Order)


Enable AI-based course recommendations for users: Use this option if you want to show course recommendations to users on basis of Artificial Intelligence (create a hyperlink on Artificial Intelligence to navigate to the Artificial Intelligence page).  



Hide calendar view for users: Use this option if you do not want to show the calendar view of courses to your users. This is relevant in case you do not have start/end date or duration-based courses.  


Show support email address to users: Use this option if you want to show support email address in your platform to users.
