Use this tab to configure SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) settings for your CX Cherry platform. It is a program used for sending messages to other computer users based on e-mail addresses. By default, every CX Cherry instance is pre-configured with SMTP service provided by CX Cherry.
Since, this service is shared across multiple instances, CX Cherry cannot provide any SLAs or email delivery timelines. Hence, it is strongly recommended that every customer should add their SMTP settings to the platform.
The mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk*. A few details about fields on this page:
- SMTP Host: Host for SMTP service.
- SMTP Port: Port for SMTP service.
- SMTP Security: Security to be used for SMTP service. You can choose either None, SSL, or TLS as the option.
- SMTP Username: Username for SMTP service.
- SMTP Password: Password for SMTP service.
Press UPDATE button to update SMTP settings in your CX Cherry platform. To test if you can send test email via your configured SMTP settings, press the TEST MAIL button. You will get a Success message if your SMTP settings are working correctly, else you will an Error message.
